How are items authenticated?

Every Product is shipped to our authentication hub before it goes to the Buyer. Our in-house experts conduct a physical inspection covering materials, hardware, stitching, stamps, serial numbers and construction, compared against reference items in our database. Higher-value Products go through a second-expert quality check.

Is your authentication a brand-issued certificate?

Accepted Answer

No. The result represents the considered professional opinion of our in-house experts. It is not a certificate of authenticity issued by the brand, is not based on data from the manufacturer, and may not be presented to third parties as such. What happens if an item turns out not to be authentic?

Open a Buyer Protection case within seven days of delivery using the 'Report a Problem' button on your order page, which records the reason automatically. If our post-delivery review confirms the item is not authentic, we issue a full refund of the price paid once the Product is returned using the prepaid return label we provide.

What if a Seller submits a counterfeit item?

Items that fail authentication never reach the Buyer. Sellers who submit counterfeit Products are in material breach of the Seller Agreement: their account is terminated, the Product is retained or surrendered to the brand owner or authorities, and the Seller indemnifies Lusso Rinnato for any resulting cost. We cooperate with brand-protection programmes and law enforcement.

How long does shipping take?

Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days within the United States and 7–14 days internationally. All shipments are fully insured, signature is required on delivery, and tracking is provided. Express and overnight options are available at checkout.

Can I return an item?

Accepted Answer

Returns are accepted only when a Product is not as described, arrives damaged, is the wrong item, or fails our post-delivery authenticity review. In those cases you have seven days from delivery to open a case using the 'Report a Problem' button on your order page, and return shipping is on us via a prepaid label. If you email us instead, you must state the reason for the return or the message may be ignored by our system. Because every Product is a one-of-a-kind, individually authenticated item, all sales are final and we do not accept change-of-mind or buyer's remorse returns.

Sellers join by invitation following a review of their experience selling authenticated luxury Products. Apply through our contact form with a description of your inventory and a record of prior sales on established platforms.

Authentic Products from recognised luxury houses across handbags, ready-to-wear, shoes, accessories, watches and fine jewellery. Items must be in good or better condition. Original packaging and provenance documents, when available, strengthen the listing.

Standard turnaround is 1–3 business days after the Product arrives at our hub, longer for high-complexity items. Sellers can track each Product's status from their dashboard.
